The pain ebbs and flows

So I take it

moment by moment 

It sits with me

within me

my guide

my companion

my (sometimes) frenemy 

never alone

Together, we trudge 

glimmers and magick

are here

too

don’t blink

you’ll miss it

an illusion: time

slow down

there’s room

for

it
