These are some of my fave questions And with the hustle (ew, capitalism) and horrors (yuck colonialism), I’ve not been nourishing myself as much as I require When times are harder on our nervous systems, we need more rest, rejuvenation and community care So how are you pouring into yourself this week? What’s on your self care menu? Here are some of my self care menu fave “dishes” 😉 🛁 Bath ritual 😴 Rest (I am notoriously bad napper, thanks perfectionism; so I simply set the intention to lay or sit in bed and rest, don’t have to sleep or do anything, simply be and read or listen to music or whatever feels relaxing) 📞 Call or make a plan with a friend ✍️ Doodle or draw 🌱 Tickle my plants 😋 Have a snack 🍩 Go get a treat (like leave the house)👣 Go for a walk🍝 Eat a meal outside in my backyard 🧘 Enjoy one of Malina’s Patreon flows (Hatha, restorative, yin, pranayama, she’s got it all) 💆♀️ Style a fun hairdo 📚 Read or re-read a sexxxy book 🧩 Play a game Any of these calling to you? Or do you have self care faves you think I could add? I’m realizing I need more play, rest, and time in nature this season So I’m trying to get out in nature at least once a month for a hike, breathwork, etc And carving that time out on my calendar helps me honor it (even and especially when the doubting voices in my head get loud) What are you yearning for this season?
