Dream magicks can be very potent as they are magicks done in a liminal space (you’re in between waking and sleeping) and as such make sure you have your protection magicks in place (for more on protection magicks and rituals – read here)
The first step I recommend is setting a Dreamtime intention (like connect more with well ancestors, receive visions/inspo/clarity, and/or do healing work in Dreamtime
Dreamtime magick works differently since it’s its own realm, so sometimes it helps me move through blockages faster/in a different way
As you start to dabble and play in Dreamtime that will help shape your Dreamtime intentions (I recommend setting one every night)
Also, be sure to set the intention of restorative rest some nights (don’t do spiritual/shadow dream work every night or you’ll wake up drained because you’re doing work during your sleeping hours)
Some days we need sleepy dream time to be restorative and restful (rest is oh so powerful)
I like to keep some handy crystals nearby on my nightstand (moonstone and lepidiolite are faves of mine), so if I have a potent dream and I’m not sure I’m catching its meaning I’ll pick up moonstone and rub it on my third eye and whatever drops in is what I need to know (of course trust your intuition on which stones speak to you)
