Spoiler: If you couldn’t already tell from my not very subtle title lol, this is a love letter to pranayama (breathwork)
I love a variety of spiritual, psychic, and somatic rituals and practices
But the one I always come back to (because it ALWAYS brings me back home to myself) is pranayama
It takes you deep to show you the parts of yourself that need more tender care, to be seen, accepted and loved
To remind us all that we are worthy and deserving of love simply because of who we are
Sometimes I catch visions
Other times my guides are very practical providing me with to do items like book more self care or change my email to reflect Kat instead of my legal name Katrina
Sometimes it is deep trauma work confronting and transmuting ancestral wounds (and the ugly snot crying and coughing out the spiritual mental, and emotional poison that comes with that)
Other times it is a gentle recalibration (which for me feels like a deep water hug and jellyfish caress)
Sometimes it reminds me of the beauty that lives all around and within me
Every. Single. Time. The medicine meets me exactly where I’m at AND gives me what I need (even if it isn’t always what I want lol iykyk)
Which is the power and mystery of Prana and practicing pranayama (and if you’re down for a hyper focus deep dive – look into ALL the ways Prana can be translated – the depth of that one word in Sanskrit is just 🤯✨)
And why as I space holder I have to get out of my own damn way (hi overactive mind and ego) to surrender to the magick and medicine
And remember who the fuck I am
And the magick and medicine I carry
Which is to guide you and cheer you on as you remember who the fuck you are and tap even more into the magicks and medicines you carry
Because you can absolutely do these practices alone – and I sincerely hope you do (I do, daily)
AND…My most potent experiences are when someone else held space for me and guided me
Because we’re not meant to journey alone
Book your own transformational session
It’s time for the magick and the medicine to meet you exactly where you’re at and bring you just what you need (even if it isn’t always what we want)
